The Use of Rocks in Your Landscaping
I’ve gotten some great photos of how to use rocks effectively in landscaping that might get some ideas flowing for your next landscaping project. These pictures show how you can easily change your landscape with one nice garden rock, or how you can take up a rock garden project and completely reinvent a part of your landscape:
This one shows how one large, unique rock can add a new layer to your landscape design:

Alternatively, if you have a LOT of time and resources, you could consider going the route of the Japanese rock garden. Japanese rock gardens often have rocks surrounded by (carefully raked) sand and/or plants. Here’s an exquisite rock garden to give you ideas, this was taken in Kamakura, Japan by Chobi Capeta:
Whether you want to pour your spring into creating a new rock garden, or just take a few minutes to add a nice rock to your yard, rocks can be a great way to enhance the look of a bare landscape.

I see you are a fan of landscape design. Are you using any software for your projects? I can suggest you a diagramming software conceptDraw VI with a big library of object for landscape design for evaluation.
Actually, I have not used any landscaping software. I had a look at your site, though, and it looks like a wonderful product, thanks for the suggestion!
